Vulcan Hires New Business Development Manager

Mike Conway To Serve as Sales Expert and Lead for Fryers, Griddles and Charbroilers

(Baltimore, MD) January 24, 2022 — Vulcan, the leading provider of commercial cooking equipment, recently announced that it has hired Mike Conway to join the Vulcan team. Conway will serve as the Business Development Manager and leading sales expert for Fryers, Griddles and Charbroilers. He will work in conjunction with the Vulcan Sales Directors to provide development, training and end-user support.

A highly qualified, passionate and results‑focused salesman, Conway’s years of experience throughout the industry will help him set the standard for durability, performance and food quality.


As a certified personal chef and ACF member, Conway has worked in culinary and operational roles throughout Florida restaurants. He previously served as Director of Operations for Hissho Sushi, where he was responsible for 150 franchised sushi bars across the U.S. Additionally, Conway ran his own catering company in Charlotte for ten years – specializing in healthcare service. 


Conway also served as President of UNOX North America where he was responsible for running the North American business and managing all supporting functions. His expertise working closely with corporate R&D in Italy helped communicate market requirements, competitive intelligence and customer needs. Prior to joining Vulcan, Conway served as CEO for Tecnoeka as and was responsible for establishing the company’s U.S. business operations.

This facility will host training, end user testing and other culinary experiences. Vulcan is building its support teams at the center to include culinary, technical and sales personnel and will be investing in upgrading its facility, engineering lab and test kitchen.
